Author Guidelines

Manuscript preparation

Use a clear title, structured abstract, keywords, main text, references and figure legends. Include author names and affiliations and identify one corresponding author.

Required statements

Include funding, competing interests, data availability, author contributions and ethics approval or consent statements where relevant.

Visual and video files

Provide captions, labels and descriptions for each visual. Confirm permission for third-party material and avoid sharing identifiable participant information without appropriate consent.
